I recently took a course on Presenting data and Information taught by Edward Tufte. He discusses methods for presenting data in a visually concise way. Very inspiring. A redirection back to basics and common sense. His ideas about designing interfaces and presentations based on the information and not the medium in this age of overwhelming complexity was both refreshing and insightful.
